How do I make an appointment?

 

If you are a new patient, we require a Doctor’s referral in order to book a consult with Dr. Binhammer. Make sure your referral has the full name of your Doctor as well as their billing number. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY REFERRALS WITHOUT A DOCTOR’S BILLING NUMBER. It is encouraged that patients bring with them to their visits any test results/reports, and/or related medical records. Always present your Ontario health card, as well as a current list of medications (herbal and non-herbal) and any allergies you may have

 

If you are a previous patient, the Ontario Ministry of Health now requires a new Doctor’s referral if you are returning over 1 year from your previous visit. Please make sure your referral has the full name of your Doctor as well as their billing number

 

If you are a WSIB patient and want to be seen at the hand and wrist specialty clinic, you must call your WSIB Case Manager and have them refer you directly to the WSIB Clinic at;

If you are a patient who lives over 2 hours away, we may be able to conduct your initial consult with Dr. Binhammer through videoconferencing using Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN). **PLEASE NOTE! DUE TO THE HIGH VOLUME OF REFERRALS WE RECEIVE DAILY OUR CURRENT WAIT TIME FOR CONSULTATIONS WITH DR. BINHAMMER IS ALWAYS MORE THAN 6 MONTHS. IF YOU LIVE FAR/OUT OF THE PROVINCE AND WILL BE TRAVELING BY PLANE, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR FLIGHT TICKETS ARE REFUNDABLE AND/OR YOU ARE ABLE TO CHANGE THE FLIGHT DATES AS DR. BINHAMMER’S SCHEDULE CAN CHANGE AT ANY TIME!**

 

**CANCELLATION POLICY! WE REQUIRE 48 HOURS NOTICE FOR OFFICE APPOINTMENTS AND 10 BUSINESS DAYS NOTICE FOR SURGICAL APPOINTMENTS. CHARGES WILL APPLY FOR CANCELLING APPOINTMENTS NOT WITHIN OUR POLICY GUIDELINES**

 

**A VALID ONTARIO HEALTH CARD MUST BE PRESENTED AT EACH VISIT! FAILURE TO PRESENT A VALD ONTARIO HEALTH CARD WILL RESULT IN THE PATIENT BEING DIRECTLY BILLED FOR THEIR VISIT. FEES MUST BE PAID BEFORE RECEIVING ANY PHYSICIAN SERVICES. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AN ONTARIO HEALTH CARD, PLEASE INQUIRE ABOUT THE FEES BEFORE ARRIVING TO YOUR APPOINTMENT. OUR CLINIC WILL ONLY ACCEPT EXACT CHANGE OR CHEQUES FOR PAYMENTS**
